I don't want to live in a world where we cannot express our personal opinions because it may offend someone. I'm not advocating for hate, I'm simply saying that if I feel a certain way about an issue that it should be my right to express everything I feel, even criticize. For example, I believe that every religion is absolutely deserving of criticism because it's the ideology that's being criticized not a person or group of people. Same applies to this gender identify stuff, it's not a person or group of people being criticized, it's a goddamn idea that should not be exempt from criticism.

Now we have all the transgender activists (which I have nothing against) advocating for protections or saying that their "protections" are under assault. What? Seriously, what rights are being stripped away that I'm unaware of? What it seems that they're asking for is absolute protection from criticism - going beyond just protection from criticism for their person but protection from any words that dare to address what gender is defined as, specifically that's contrary to their beliefs.

If we were to go that far and indulge these people then shouldn't it be done for every class of people, religion, idea, orientation, you name it. Go down that road and you'll make everyone liable for nearly everything they express, that would go beyond limiting free speech, it would create a completely expressionless society. No one could have a unique voice or opinion because there's a protection it could possibly infringe.
