Is it time to panic yet Misc?

They just closed down my school system.

My wife is a critical care nurse and I'm concerned for her safety right now.

Should I go out and fight locals for toilet paper down at the Wal-Mart?

my local walmart was entirely out ot toilet paper, sanitizer, paper towals, disinfecting wipes when i went earlier today. im debating going to the gym at this point.

It's best to privately message the one hundred or so misc scientists who clearly lead the scientific field on Corona. FYI Fry's, Costco, and Target were completely sold out of tp but Albertsons and Food City had plenty in my area.

If your wife isn’t retirement age and doesn’t have any other underlying issues / lung problems, I wouldn’t be panicking about her safety

No panic but you should have most of what you need in case of quarantine already home, idk why people want to hoard 20 cases of water and 50 packs of toilet tissue like they are gonna be bunkered down for the apocalypse. Jusy make sure you have your regular first aid kit, extra tylenol for yourself and motrin/kids tylenol in case you have kids.

My mom is an ER nurse in California and she’s saying that most admitted patients who test negative for flu aren’t even being tested for CV. She suspects it already ripped through the nurses several weeks ago.

Edit: by “most”, she was clear that it’s like 10 to 1 against testing so far. Combination of not having enough tests and willful blindness.
