Tradies don’t drink Red Bull

Too many variables.

The electric company I was working with laid everyone off for Atleast two weeks.

Tesla was one of our major customers and didn’t want to pay us so we came back to San Diego.

We have a few commercial jobs but I don’t know if they’re essiental infrastructure.

The gayest thing is all the state and national parks are closed so I’d rather just be working.

I was gonna roadtrip and hit some nice topography hotspots after getting laid off because I had money stacked but with all the parks closed I can’t . ****ing gay.

Just want to add I’m also just an apprentice so finding work will be much more difficult for me than a licensed journeyman.

If you’re an electrician you should be fine , side work from work clients at worse.

It’s a really tough time to be an apprentice now though , lmao I’m ****ed

some of those prob increased with everybody inside

construction prob slowed down a bit but not fully outright

oil industry prob not.

pipefitters and welders maybe

As for me, I'm a Canadian tradie who's still working with plenty of work ahead of me, if something were to happen though I've prepared for time off so I'll be good.

Tradie checking in, still on par to make $130k-ish this year. I Don't drink energy drinks but i can still afford my k-cups for coffee. Since the stock market crashed, I added $7000 to my 401k, $6000 to my Roth IRA, and $22,000 to my trading account. Going to lose around $35,000 this year on my 2 beach rentals, but my 4 local rentals are still paying rent on time. Might have to push my retirement back to 38-39 instead of the planned 36-37 but ill live.

How's your white collar job OP?

Out of work. But I have enough in savings to last about a year, and wife still working. We only need one of our incomes, for the most point.

All in all, enjoying my time off. Getting a lot of stuff done around the house.
