Inb4 some dudes that don't realize that rolling around on the floor with another dude when there are no rules and he can eye gouge or squeeze your ballsack really isn't worth it come here to tell you about how Brock Lesnar would kick any boxer's a$$ srs.

People are just stupid and don't think practically.Even more cringy are the 100 pounds girls that think they could defend an attacker because they know BJJ.

You don't need any fancy moves or styles. Just go for the eyes, throat, heart, groin, kidneys, liver, chest diaphragm, and back of the head for the brain. Muay Thai is my style.

ITT OP thinks street fights have strict rules regarding grappling/kicking, refereed with 12 rounds and rests in-between.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Lol if you are not learning Kiai mastery. Only martial art, that can safely take out a gun user at a distance.

Boxing/Judo/wrestling/Mt/bjj are all very useful

Of course they don't guarantee you'll win, but it's crazy how easily a trained fighter can drop the average guy
Gymnastics / Oly Lifting / BJJ / Kickboxing /

I stopped an assault by simply kicking a guy hard (?) enough right between his legs. That was all I needed to do at that time. He was sitting on the ground for about 10 minutes after that. But, in all fairness, I had a running start before I suddenly turned and aimed (he was chasing me down the street!).

But, the difference is I knew this particular guy wasn't a psychopath looking to truly harm me, if that makes sense. He was just being the pervert that everyone knew. Had he been a stranger off the street... Sometimes when a woman does this, the man becomes even more enraged and therefore, more dangerous.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

can't picture myself hitting a woman in the first place but if there's one thing in the world that would make me genuinely give a girl CTE it would be a hit to that place

I'd recommend a combination of three or four arts. Boxing for thestyleof punching, since I believe boxing techniques deliver hands down the most power behind the punches. But Muay Thai for knees, elbows and clinch work which will prove invaluable. Untrained fighters won't even know what to do in a clinch. Krav Maga for practical preparation for actual scenarios you will find yourself in.

Perhaps, some BJJ but winding up on the ground in a street fight is a stupid thing to do no matter who you are. But grappling is still a good skill to have.

By far and large, beyond all those, the best skill to have is a sensible head. Nearly if not all fights can be entirely avoided with situational awareness and the general street smarts to recognize and avoid situations where fights are likely to happen. Never fight if you don't absolutely have to. If you can run, run. Don't underestimate how difficult it is to corner someone entirely intent on leaving a situation.

Experience: Having a job where I saw first hand the results and consequences of lots of street violence.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.
