Gyms are in Phase 1 of the reopening process!

Best news I've heard in a month. Gyms are allowed to open on the same day the initial business are allowed to open, as long as they have increased sanitation and distancing guidelines.

So fuking excited to get back, I'm feeling like a pudgy twink.

Kids in NYC won't be back the rest of this school year bro, as I understand it. And since we don't live in bumfuk we are kind of dependent on commercial gyms...I honestly miss Equinox.

I'd like to build a home gym but all dumbells are frickin SOLD OUT. Luckily I got a couple but they're not the weight I like them at.

Been lifting at home but still dying to train at the gym. Hope Cucknada allows gyms to open soon, just restrict the number of people allowed at the same time like grocerie stores. Id wait in line.

Eh our governor here in NC hasn’t done anything outrageous yet, I’m thinking if everyone is given the okay, he’ll open sooner than later

lol at people being excited. your state has to make it to phase one by meeting criteria before this happens. this isn't just a green light to open gyms tomorrow (though some states will, but that's like the Dakotas, and WY, MT).

also it's stupid af to put this in phase one. how the hell are gyms supposed to adhere to strict social distancing? easy to do when i go to the gym between 5-6 am, but not in the later mornings and definitely not the late afternoon/evenings. no one will be distanced.

President Trump correctly states that NYC is 'going through hell'. And that it'll reopen 'sooner than people think' but also 'when it's safe'. And I agree, just hope we get there soon. I don't see what this has to do with 'freedom'.

P.S I get to work in less than 10 minutes. Not everyone here has to have hours of commutes every day to get to and from work.
