My body my choice

anyone thought about this as an argument when getting mask shamed by your local Karen's?

I figure if women can kill their baby in the spirit of that saying, then how dare they shame us alphas without masks.

What say you misc?

The masks are used more so as a means to prevent you from giving the virus to somebody else not as a means to prevent getting it yourself.

Yeah, the idiots who say masks aren't effective don't realize that yeah, they won't stop you from getting it. They stop you from getting droplets on other people in case you're an asymptomatic carrier.

The irony of the argument is, by choosing not to wear a mask, you could actually harm another person (spread the virus to them). And when THEY say it they are only talking about killing an unborn child, not potentially giving them a virus with a 99% survival rate.

Same reason seatbelts are a legal requirement. No one cares if YOU die. It's if your dumb actions result in someone else getting hurt (in car crash, body flies around, in mask case, if you're asymptomatic but cough on some chit and infect someone)

You're literally just a child having a temper tantrum if a big scary mask makes you uncomfortable

The point is people are completely valid in being upset at somebody for not wearing a mask as it could harm them and individuals they know.

Your smarmy attempt at comparing this to abortion is hilariously terrible. There are feasible arguments where abortion would benefit society as a whole such as a lesser population that would rely on social assistance and governmental aid. There is zero societal benefit for not wearing a mask.

I don’t wear a mask either and it’s probably selfish.

Well by that logic I get to put a mask on you if you're not wearing one, because you're infringing on the choice I made regarding my body and health.


So technically you're correct.


It's a piece of textile that you're asked to wear for a couple minutes if you're heading to a couple places. I'm sure that your ego can handle it.
