Finally watched Terminator Dark Fate (potential spoilers warning)
I saw it online for 99c and decided to rent it. I've been curious for a while but went into it with low expectations. Safe to say that those expectations were met. Really mediocre movie, even after looking past the glaring agenda present throughout. I was thinking maybe the movie itself would be a good movie despite, but it was a really bland, rehashed movie. This is what Cameron considers his grand sequel to T2 - arguably the greatest action flick ever made? Bad CGI, poorly developed characters, and a geriatric Sarah Conner and a terminator that apparently ages and becomes a beta provider.
I don't really get the need to inject the series with obvious feminist or general SJW nonsense. When someone mentioned that girl's son would lead a resistance, I knew that she was the one. I knew it was going to come up as this big reveal - "you're the hero, honey, not some fuking man." There really was no need. Terminator was already a movie where an originally scared and weak woman becomes a fuking badass. Sarah Connor in T2 is the epitome of the hardass hero woman. I grew up with this movie and always admired the character, her development of which came about organically. This new movie, much like everything else in Hollywood these days, is just so forced and cringe-worthy. It's like they're spoon-feeding you their nonsense agenda, just bashing you over the skull with it in such a clumsy and lazy way.
Anyways, I'm sure the misc feels the way I do about this movie. Any thoughts? I knew it was a good idea to not pay much to see this thing.
Also, just lol @ what they did to John at the beginning. What gives?

its been on torrents for like the last half year. lol at even paying 99 cents.
it got the usual SJW treatment, all the females are strong fighters, independent - dont need no man! bunch of random colored people working together (DIVERSITY!).
not original idea just copied the original movie but replaced alpha males with "alpha" females and colored people.

If I knew this one existed, I completely forgot about it. No intention of watching.
“The Misc. is a stone-faced Uncle Sam with Popeye’s forearms and a cocked pistol in each hand. It’s a screeching bald eagle with a foreign Bad Thing in its talons. It’s everything that defines America’s bro culture, magnified and weaponized. But it’s deeper than that.“
