He’s honestly my personal favorite. Chris Cornell is on the same level as far as talent. Hard to choose when they are at that level tbh.

90s had a lot of great frontmen, unfortunately many of them have od’d or committed suicide. Only Vedder is left from grunge

Additions:

Andrew Wood from motherlovebone. 2 guys that formed Pearl Jam were in that band, they disbanded after Andrew od’d

Crazy times. And a lot of people don’t realize how many songs were based on the drug issues going on at that period. Under The Bridge (RHCP), and Hurt (NIN, famously covered by Johnny Cash), etc.

I give Weiland a lot of respect vocally, I always thought he was best when he wasn’t swinging for the fences. Interstate Love Song is iconic.

Agreed with Reznor, he’s got the talent and energy just never had the pipes. I’d say the same for Billy Corgan.

Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford were still singing in the 90s, so I pick them. Also, speaking of Weiland, Velvet Revolver was insanely good. It's a shame that they only released 2 albums.
