OC, CA Schools - possibility of not requiring masks or distancing - opening in Fall

"OC Board of Education Panel Calls for a Fall Return to Classes with No Masks or Distancing"

"The recommendations also sought to give parents options, calling remote learning an “utter failure,” and allows parents to send their children to a new district with every day in class instruction."

"One of the experts on the panel – which included a county supervisor and the head of Orange County’s Health Care Agency – was quoted anonymously as saying, “This is a disease that kills our most elderly and spares our children. It may sound callous, but would we want it the other way around?”

So just like that, it's over? No more contact tracing, you're not gonna kill grandma now?

And I'm happy to hear it.

Work with school districts in SoCal and Orange County / Riverside school districts are the only counties doing full re-openings.

LA County is still dragging their feet and haven't decided but we estimate their districts will do a "hybrid reopen" where it's half remote / half in class. Garcetti is a full on communist so I wouldn't be surprised if LA County districts go completely remote.
