Most of us are doing this crazy thing, which seems to be quite a foreign concept to you guys, where we follow the advice of experts.

We do also have more space than a lot of other countries.

Can't go out and infect others if you pass out in your backyard/living room while day drinking.

They fist fight roos and sleep with no less than 5 venomous creatures around them at all times.

Also they drink more bleach than the average US citizen on average.

They introduced the 14 day quarantine for new arrivals quite early (I know because I was about to go) and they are very isolated, apart from NZ no one has flight connections via Australia.

Ideal conditions to nip it in the bud.

Their population is half of just the state of California while being 20 times the size in land mass.

A smaller population that is more spread out, I'm sure you can connect the dots.

We're too busy dying from actual dangerous things like sharks, snakes and drop bears to worry about some kung flu. Plus we're already full, so told the virus to fuk off.

Either that or we closed our borders quickly, told everyone to stay home, and did lots of testing early on.

We're not really that spread out, as most of the place in uninhabitable so we cluster in a few places (mostly Sydney and Melbourne).
