Some people are blessed with mesomorph genetics, some are not. We have to accept the hands we are dealt and make the most of it.
But what are some signs you have great genetics for bodybuilding, meaning you can excel at it quicker and more easily than the average person?
Here are some examples
-Lose fat easily
-Gain muscle mass easily
-V Taper - broad shoulders, tiny waist
-naturally big arms, legs etc
-generally stronger than most others
-insertions/muscle bellies etc

Naturally big, naturally strong, naturally good shape, puts on muscle easily, loses fat easily. Negged for obviousness (on recharge)
Somehow still managing to avoid getting 'too big'

Most the people here are delusional and think they have good genetics. Newsflash, the guys with good genetics played football, if your ass started lifting because you were scrawny or fat and wanted to get girls (99% of you), you don't have good genetics.
The other common cope I see is juicers who say they just recently started juicing and that it barely helped and that most of their gains came from hard work and genetics. Just LOL.

It only takes you maybe half a year to bench 225, you have calves and thickness naturally, high test crew.

I have a friend around my height who doesn't go to the gym and mogs me. Genetics is half the struggle but to reach your potential you need to put years and years of effort.
Your bone density, frame and tendon size/strength is the foundation and key to strength/growth.
Body mechanics such as your leverage and body part ratios etc plays a role for strength training if you're really obsessed with 1RM etcs. You can get huge guys with horrible body mechanics for bench press etc.

If you look like you might lift, but you don't lift, you probably have good genetics.
Most people will not know if they have good genetics for bodybuilding or for building an aesthetic physique until after they've put in all the work...
Which is why it's senseless to really even think about it. If you have chit tier genetics, you will still look better after you put the effort in than you would have otherwise. Physique that looks like it took effort to achieve > Dad bod.

Wish I had the staying lean easy gene. Everything else is easy for me especially since I’m 6’4 240 atm (almost done with my cut I was 270 5 weeks ago). Cutting sucks do to my hunger but it’s a grind and I do it.

It's usually about proportion, and that starts with your skeleton. If you have natural shoulder width that is in good proportion to your pelvis, femurs that aren't too long in relation to your torso you are in pretty good shape from a base to start with. You can always pack on a ton of muscle, but if from the front and back your proportions aren't in line it will always be a struggle to bring up body parts.
For example, I'm taller, long femurs and narrow shoulder width - have been since I was a teenager. I had to pack on a ton of width on my lats, and even then my legs were almost impossible to get big enough to look decent. My body is built for length, not width and size. I would have had to bicycle in order to get decent looking and I wasn't prepared to do that.

I may have chit genetics but at 33 I look 10× better than I did in my early-mid 20's (prior to lifting), as well as the vast majority of guys my age right now.

pretty easy to know.
If you are the dude that was always "big/muscular" during middle school before even starting lifting, you have above average genetics.
Then, if after your first year of natty lifting you already look better than 99% of gym rats that have been training for years, then you have great genetics.
