Gaming is awesome if you don't become obsessed with it. It's like all entertainment. movies, reading, whatever. Playing solid games on a nice rig is highly entertaining and being skilled at many games makes the enjoyment even better.

I am having an awesome time at the moment spending a few hours here and there on "The Witcher 3". I bought the GOTY edition and it's like I am playing a movie, the story writing and gameplay is fantastic.

I tell any female I am banging I play games, they act surprise but most are impressed that you DGAF.

I really love MMOs too, but there are not many decent ones worth investing my time in atm.

The only thing in gaming that is cringe and I don't partipciate in is the whole vlog/twitch/drama nonsense. That was all fine when it was about the top 1% gamers sharing knowledge, now it's just a pathetic camshow/haven for potatoes.

The last time I played COD online I was the top player on my team and topped the leaderboard lol. It's just kinda dumb to take it seriously, so many better ways to have a good time.

The past decade made me realize how it's for the most part just a kids hobby, yeah there's a few adults who make a good living at it but they are pretty much the same as pro sports stars.

Lol I'm 26 and honestly most people I know who still game heavy are losers . Know this 1 guy who would just play non stop every day after work and weekends . Me and my other friend used to play jokes on him and look in his window and sure enough youd see him in there with his gaming head set on without fail every time

Got back into gaming during this quarantine and honestly it's been a blast getting together with the homies and just shooting the ****. Feels like them high school days lol.

Taking it way too seriously and raging is how you know you're doing it wrong though, it's just a fun way to pass the time and just talk **** with your boys you usually don't get to see (some live across the country) especially now when there really isn't much to do.

Depends what you mean by take it seriously. If you lose a match and destroy your controller or go off on some racist rant online then yeah, you're taking it too far. If you're playing games and enjoying the competitive aspect of some lively **** talking with the boys it's really no big deal. Not everyone who games is glued to their machines 24/7 and even if they are you're not in a position to really say what they should or shouldn't do. Granted too much of anything is bad I guess, but this just seems like a troll thread to trigger casual gamers.
