Any miscers here work early mornings but not a morning person?
Got an interview for a better paying job but start time is at 5AM and I’m already having trouble starting at 6am. I’m still debating But if I land this job, I’ll be making 18k more a year than my current job
Only problem is I’m not a morning person and this job requires you to start At 5AM and I’ll be traveling 20 more miles for work

I've found that being a "morning person" ultimately depends on your sleep schedule. You can't happily wake up at 3 AM and commute for a 5 AM if you're going to sleep at midnight. The upside is that you'd be done with work in the afternoon and you'd have the rest of the day to lift weights and chill outside in the sun and get other things done in your life before dinner.
That being said, I'm not a morning person because I love staying up late and surfing the internet lol. I probably would never take a job that makes me wake up before 6 AM, get ready, drive 30+ min to the work/office, and be there at 8 or 9 AM. To me, that is a nice balance regarding sleep/lifestyle. The only downside of a 9-5 is that you're coming home at like 6 or 7 PM and you can't do much besides eat dinner and watch Netflix and do it all over again.
Remote jobs are becoming more and more common these days, so I'd look into that well. Wake up at 7:50 AM, open your laptop and you're good to go haha.

I'm a morning person in the sense that I can get up and be productive, but when it comes to work and figuring stuff out, I do better when it's later in the day. I had to work nights for a few weeks and it was way better. I didn't get distracted by other people, enjoyed the silence, and was super productive.
Before corona, I was waking up at 5:30, showering/getting ready, and then leaving at 6 AM. Driving 1 hour to work. Now with corona and less traffic, I'm waking up at 6:45, leaving at 7:15 AM, and driving 35 minutes.
I need at least 6 hours of sleep, so my bed time is either 11:30 or 12:30 depending on when I need to be up.

Never a morning person but I've trained myself to get up early. Now it's just clockwork. I automatically wake up early AF even though I mentally don't want to.

My shift recently switched, I now have to start at 5am instead of 6am and I get off at 1pm instead of 2pm. I go to bed an hour early than I did before, sometimes even earlier because I know I have to get up very early. I honestly feel a lot better, I arrive at work when it's quiet and calm and when I get off it feels like I still got the whole day ahead of me and there is no time pressure. Feelsgoodman

If it makes you miserable, fuk that. The hours of my life are important to me. I'm not spending time hating it for $$. But i don't have kids to feed.
