How do you define best?

The most layered character in my opinion, and fun to watch was MY GUY Ben Sisko:

Picard is obviously the best character. I would argue the best female character was Jadzia Dax. She was a really interesting character. She was outgoing and kind, and very slooty, but also old and wise af and a cunning warrior.

I’d say most beautiful female character was Jadzia Dax. And her character was pretty awesome as well.

My favorite male character was Dukat. He’s the jerk you loved to hate.

I don't know, I always thought Star Trek was incredibly lame (my dad liked it growing up).

Now that I'm older maybe I should give it another shot and see if maybe I'd like it better.

This is a textbook boomer thread.

I have no idea who any of those people mentioned so far are, except that ****gy French dude picard who apparently gets cucked in some show every week that no one watches.

Try Star Trek: TNG. Best show ever IMO. Lots of interesting philosophical questions asked and dilemmas presented. You probably wouldn't like it. Liberal ideology and all that.

Picard was surely the best character, both because of Patrick Stewart and just the depth of the character

The Voyager EMH is one of my favourites as well. And the actors name is Robert Picardo, go figure

Ro laren as the most beautiful throughout all the series (by far). But I had a thing for Michelle Forbes for a long time, even in Battlestar Galactica.

Favorite character across all Star Treks...that's a hard one. I'd probably have to go with Picard given everything his character has gone through, and where it is now as well with the new series.

Glad somebody else also noticed her!

Well yeah, if I was going to give it another shot that's the one I would go with for sure.

I've just never been into on the spacey Sci-Fi stuff for some reason. Unless its Red Dwarf (British Sci-Fi comedy), that show was great.

Try The Expanse on Amazon. GOAT sci fi, and a lot more interesting and well written than Star Trek IMO in some ways. More modern too. It isn't overtly pushing any particular political agenda, but rather, examining a lot of different points of view. It starts out a little slow, but picks up really fast.

Next time you watch Total Recall, he played the Johnny Cab.

"Hope you enjoyed the ride!"
I'm #12 in Y2J's "club"...and I'm scared.

This week on The Buff and the Beautiful: Colleen comes up with a new scheme to win over Carlos. But first she has to gain the trust of her captor.
