What is your pantry situation?

I'm addicted to sales and always buy canned food in bulk when it goes on sale.
I've got probably ten pounds of various dried beans, as well.

What does your pantry look like?

Washer/dryer, cat food, and a few things that looked good at the store but are now useless on keto.

I literally just threw a ton of noodles away because I'm lowering the amount of carbs I'm taking in.
Right now I'm expirementing with making noodles out of zucchini.

If you are experimenting with fake noodles, what you are doing doesn't work. Maybe just eat less food and work out harder.

It's jam packed. Freezer as well. Ready for war. Meat, oats, salmon, dried milk, dried fruits like dates, blueberries, apples, mangoes, pineapple much more, tons of honey, sesame, 50lbs of sugar, many nut varieties, jerked meat. Full up on supplements, powders and vitamins too. Also I've got my all toiletries and cleaning supplies for several months. Low on animal feed though, but they can eat grass if the isht hits the fan since there's plenty of pasture. Too much to eat in the garden.

I will get some.
I'm working on it.
What I was doing worked well for the first 30 pounds, it's just the last 15 that's getting me.
I've started working out more, though, so that should help.

I have a lot of fresh veggies as well.
Just got 4 pounds of green beans from the farm down the street. Growing up poor I got used to keeping canned goods on hand.

I usually keep a decent inventory in the pantry. My freezers are packed though. I compulsively buy discounted meat that is close to the sell by date and freeze until I use it. A couple stores will even call me if they have a bunch of stuff that they won’t be able to move. I’ve bought 70lbs of grass fed beef that was half off, 40lbs of fresh salmon etc. I’ll buy it all if I can fit it in the freezer. Saves a lot of money on protein sources.

We bought a whole cow when the whole Covid thing started messing with the farmers. They were selling the cows for $90 each and we just had to pay for processing. I doubt I'll have to buy beef for a while. What was kind of cool was we got some cuts I would have never had otherwise. Like we made lengua tacos and they were tasty as hell.

Along with that we have a ton of fish. My freezer is packed full.

That’s a great way to do it too. I grew up in a rural agricultural area (Chicago burbs now) and have bought beef, pigs to process. It’s a lot of work though. We might go in halves with my sister for a bison from a farm in Wisconsin that will be around $5/lb processed and packaged. Lengua is awesome, PIA to prepare but what I always order when we go out for tacos. Cheek meat is really good too despite sounding gross. Bought a big package of that at Sams club once, pretty much like lengua without having to deal with the skin junk.

We started canning things just recently. So far the only "success" has been kimchi.
My freezer is stocked full. I do the same with meat and buy when it's on sale.
I literally just cleared out the fridge for shopping today. I usually go to the farm down the road and get stuff from them.

Yeah, peeling the tongue was an interesting experience.
I have been trying to decide what to do with the cheek meat.
