Where I live, all the good stores won't let you shop without a mask. Even our local walmart (we don't have an actual walmart, but a neighborhood walmart grocery) has required masks for a few months now. Ofc my state is like 74% blue so...

I loled hard the other day when a russian karen was yelling at the costco guy because she didn't have a mask and he wouldn't let her in. We've had the virus pretty well under control, but it has grown over the last few days.

I dont know why anyone would have a problem wearing a mask. If there is a chance that it minimizes the spread and gives a higher chance to keep things open and reopen the things that are closed than why not. Its not a big deal to me.

I just don't wear a mask. Don't say anything when I go anywhere. Act nice as usual. No one has said anything ever. Haven't worn it once.

When people try to take these things and force them down your throat it becomes an issue. On both sides. Don't want to wear a mask because you know it's medically unnecessary? Then just don't wear it. Want to wear it to fit in and not get shamed, and to get your bon bons from costco? Then wear it.

I wouldn't care in any way, but I have to hear daily the complete lunacy and idiocy of people trying to utilize mask wearing as a power trip and a way to virtue signal.

My gym, which for 3 weeks hasn't required anything but social distancing and wiping down equipment, is now suddenly making you wear a mask for 50ft to sign in, and then get your temperature taken. Then you can take your mask off and lift. It's the most illogical thing I can possible think of. Wearing a mask through an empty lobby, to go to the front desk surrounding by spit glass, for them to take your temperature, which then you can take everything off and workout sweating, breathing heavy, and touching everything.

I just can't take the illogical world we're living in. Emotions override logic to a point where our society is burning itself into the ground
