Good phone to get?

So my current phone is dead...gonna go buy a new one now. What's a good phone that won't die in a year?

Anything around iphone 8 / galaxy 8 or higher are good phones.
You can get them at a discount too since they're ''old''.
Unless you're looking for the latest models.

Samsung s10 plus. Had mine since it came out a year ago, best phone I ever used.

OP please. We need to know at least what phone you had and what you're looking for.

If IOS I'd hate to tell you to get an 11 because the 12's hit soon and the base 12's are gonna be $550. You could get an 11 base for around $500 probably and that's a solid phone too. The SE is cool for small form factor phones.

If you're Android just grab a pixel 4 xl. Don't bother with the little pixel 4 because the battery life is bad on it. Or go for a OnePlus Pro 7 to save money, or an 8 for the latest.
