If you have no purpose as a man, you're never gonna make it

I honestly feel bad for dudes with no purpose. By purpose I mean goals, physically, mentally, and financially. If you do things you enjoy and that genuinely bring happiness and confidence, no one can tell you anything. You don't need anyone else for enjoyment, Your priority is you and only you. So if your plans fall through with the guys or some girl, it doesn't even matter because you're gonna enjoy yourself regardless.


I hope to build myself up to that point someday

Purpose isn't cope. Michael Jordan is an Icon. Arnold Swarzenaegger is an Icon. They did what they loved to do and became good at it. Will you ever reach their greatness? Maybe, maybe not, but the point is finding something that makes you happy so when you are on your deathbed you have no regrets

To me, purpose is making money off what you love to do while helping other people. If you can do that, your happiness and test levels will be through the roof.

Gaming and smoking/drinking isn't true happiness unless you're an absolute degenerate. I love videogames, but they don't bring the same satisfaction as losing weight or getting a big bonus

No, purpose is an investment in the value of existence. Since when is the value of a thing measured by its relative length of existence? We measure the value of things by their contribution to a purpose. Think of anything, think of how you assess its value. Why would you measure your own value in any other way?
