I did 100 pistol squats today
How's everyone else doing?
My BJJ gym remote class did a ladder of pistol squats and close-grip pushups, 1 up to 10 and back to 1 rep of each at a time. It took me about half an hour to get through 100 of each. It was a good workout.
Shocking how much easier pistol squats are on days I don't run beforehand. I'd taken the weekend off running and my legs felt a lot stronger. I don't typically think running is "catabolic," but it certainly takes away some of the energy I have to train legs.

i was jogging after breakfast this morning and my neighbor ( we live together but she deosnt mess with me) actually came to and says my guts are ripped. its was interesting to see that she was paying attention and wants to tell me that because i broke upper shoulders and kept gaining weight and it wasnt until my brother came in 3 months later that i stopped training the injury like a ******* and did the running he says. now its like i might be homeless from beating my neighbors from happening to move in with me.

100 is impressive
Really I mire anyone that can do one with good form
Yall with knee joint probs, check your form, if you're able to engage your hips and glutes it takes a lot of stress of the knees.
Still probably isn't the absolute best for the knees, but it's a good testament to strength and balance.

I been doing 5 sets of 25 squats and push ups since the rona closed my gym. Yall think this is enough to at least stay in shape?
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

kneecaps hate her.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn
"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

But I do really really want to do barbell work. My brother just bought a barbell for his home gym; obviously, due to Corona, I just haven't had access thus far. So I've worked on bodyweight movements and lost some weight, hopefully not too much of it muscle.
Also re: supporting my gym remotely, I'm able to do so financially and Marcelo's gym means the world to me, so you bet I'm going to keep giving them my money. It pays for my instructors' health insurance and salaries, and because I can train at home with my girlfriend, my jiu jitsu is still progressing with their help.

You should do some pulling exercises if you can I think, and some cardio...
