its a generic lifting question that's been asked 350 times already on misc, but humor me and share your ratios

I feel like I actually incline DB press more than I flat bench now, which probably isn't normal.

Depends on what you focus on. When I did flat bench and hit 315, my main accessory was incline DB bench. I hit 120s for 5 paused reps. My DB flat bench was awful. My incline barbell was around 225x8 paused reps.

So it just depends on what you are currently focusing on

Most I've ever done on incline was like 150s for 6 on a semi shallowish incline.

Never gone beyond 4 plates on flat for like a double. Never really train flat bench tho. Maybe once every three months

those sound more like my ratios.

It makes me sad to think that attempting a 405 bench would pop both my shoulders and rip both my pecs, I suspect 150 inclines would probably fuk me up just kicking them into place too.

I hit 120s x 10 paused last time I focused on inclines, but haven't been able to do any real lifting this year thanks to surgery and post surgery complications but hit 100 x 12 tonight on the first session back.

probably could barely get 10 reps with 225 after not benching for so long :/

at my best - 115's for like 7. 400 x 1 on flat. When I trained for PLing I never really did incline DB though.

Within the last year or so? 120's for 5 and I could bench 275 for sets of 5-8 (CGBP).

Since covid I only have DBs up to 70s at home and just do those for sets of 12 on incline. At work we have a flat bench and once I threw on 2 plates and did some sets of 6-8. I've lost a chit ton of strength, which is to be expected.
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I have to reverse grip bench now for flat

but 295 x4

Incline DB 125 x 4

"normal" is for non-broken people. I get weird looks for my reverse grip, but I am old and my shoulder doesn't like me.
