Mike Tyson rejects $20 million offer for bare knuckle fight

Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) has turned down a big $20 million offer to fight in a bare-knuckle match. The 54-year-old Tyson was supposed to be returning to the ring for an exhibition bout in July, but that’s not happened. It’s unclear when, if ever, Tyson will make a comeback.

We don’t know what went on behind Tyson’s decision not to accept the $20M offer. Perhaps he had doubts whether the $20 million was for real? That’s a lot of money for a bare-knuckle fight, and where would that kind of revenue come from?

It’s hard for the average boxing fans to relate to someone turning down $20 million. Tyson can’t be broke like some people think he is if he’s rejecting $20 million for a bare-knuckle fight. With Tyson’s punching power and hand speed, he would have an excellent chance of winning a bare-knuckle battle in the first round.

Tyson will never be broke forever, even if he does **** his money up constantly. Way too big of a name and image to not profit off of.

He talked about wanting to do charity boxing matches. He's an old man, while he still looks really sharp i doubt he wants to bare knuckle fight and risk getting ****ed. He wants to box because he loves the art of boxing.

The Emirati or Saudi's would have floated them the cash for the right to host. Depending on the opponent it would bring in well over 1,000,000 buys. It has to be a legit opponent and not some taxi driver.
