Gym bro has a good time. Lifts with the boys. Probably skips leg day once in a while to get an arm pump for the bar.

Gym rats are tryhard autists, carry bags full of chit and gallon water bottles, go extra hard on leg day cuz they're hardcore af m8.

Can confirm. Am autist.

I would say the actual answer is that gym bros go for the social aspect/results, whereas gym rats go because they actually enjoy training.

If all public gyms shut down permanently and the only option was home gym by yourself, the gym bros would drop like flies while the rats would continue as usual.
