The oldest Olympic medalist was 73, and of course British

Don’t give me any of this ‘it doesn’t count not athletic’ guff, Baron Coubitin was determined to include an artistic category when he reformulated the Olympics. 150 art medals were awarded up til 1952, when bizarrely the category was discontinued and the present day IOC expunged all the records
