Legitimately worried Trump capitulated on masks

I'm worried this direction is essentially going
to be the death nail in his re-election.

I get that listening to Fauci screwed him. But he needed to seriously come out hard and say "listen, I took the advice of my top medical advisors. Thankfully, this has been so much less severe than they believed. We have states manipulating death statistics. We have states that let anarchists loot cities for weeks, then suddenly the governors decided covid was a concern again. The data says 98% of the population is at no grave risk. This will run its course like it did in Sweden. We're almost there, and if you stopped listening to the dishonest media, most people wouldn't even be worried anymore".

Instead, we got "wear masks".

Our county is fukked. Biden gonna get elected and have a bunch of Marxists running the country.

Not sure if saying these things would help his cause since it seems he has too many haters already. The only thing he had going for him was a strong economy during most of his term which we all know took a major hit because of the plandemic. If the dems were behind this the whole time I don't think any republican would have a chance to win the next election.

What Trump should have done was lock down all travel from China and Europe back in December. I mean the US had time to prevent coronavirus from getting here.
