Noticed an email for a package to be delivered to New York, wtf I live in another country on the west coast, so called amazon and they told me to delete my cards and addresses off my account. Then to delete my account.

So I deleted my cards but nothing else. Now 3 days later they added another different card with someone elses name and ordered some other product! So I cancelled that, removed the card, and deleted all my addresses and then changed my password.

Anyone have anything similar happen? What do? They didnt use my cards for the first purchase or 2nd attempt.


Obviously im going to go through all my accounts everywhere now and change all my passwords.

Should i get fraud protection of some sort?

try changing the phone number on the account maybe someone is spoofing your sim.

idk how else they could keep getting back in but you should still be getting those "your password was changed" emails?


I have only had people trying to fuk me over when selling on amazon. Not a business or anything just selling used electronics.

Amazon charged me an annual prime membership a year after they "deleted my account".

On the phone they said there was no active account linked to my card in their system yet it was charged anyway.



Had to cancel the card as well.

Most fraud company in existence, makes walmart look like a saint.

Did this just happen yesterday? Amazon sent me an email yesterday saying someone from NY logged into my account too srs, they just didnt buy anything

Make sure the emails you receive are from actual amazon.

A lot of times they're fake emails trying to get your login info.

the first order was like the 16th, some ******* address in flushing new york, that order got delivered on someones card (not my number) but had my billing address and name, which is messed up, nobody is taking my mail, so i doubt theres a card out there under my name i dont know about.

The 2nd order was on the 20th but I cancelled that, that order had some other persons name for the card but again my billing address, strange af.


I admit I wasnt on the ball, I hate checking email, now ill be checking twice a day incase this happens again

Seems to typically be coming from my gf's old accounts - Doordash, Etsy, Amazon(?). Her passwords aren't weak but I'm having her delete all her payment info and chit now from everything, and make some other changes too.

There's been a documented increase in hacking/phishing this year. Everyone locked up in home with nothing else to do, trying to snipe each other's stimulus checks, or just desperately scam others so they can get some money to pay rent.

fuark ive never gotten so many chinese scam, and fake tax evasion phone calls in my life mind you its been a few weeks but for a while it was like clock work everyday, i must have over 200 blocked numbers right now

It was a chitty 90$ sports watch, easily resellable I guess, but who buys chit tier watches lol. The 2nd product was a hair product something to do with extensions, about 50$ i cancelled that one though.
