It's a difficult metric to measure, but with what scholars and what not, they rate the Presidents on everything. I believe Trump comes in almost last, or close to last a lot of the time. We really won't know the full extent of his presidency until after he leaves office to be honest. Yeah hes a brash, completely unpolitical fukkin idiot, but the economy was doing pretty well. Once he leaves, you will see the actual influence he had over the country.

No way. A president needs to unite the people. He is partially responsible for this divide in America IMO. I'm not picking sides, but the fact remains that this nation is split into two more than ever.

As an example, James Buchanan is consistently rated by historians as one of the worst presidents in all of US history for allowing tensions between the North and the South to come to a head and basically let the Civil War happen.

By that metric, Donald Trump is probably bottom 10 of all presidents unless he gets his chit together and brings unity to the nation.
