Something you think about and your blood just boils, tried distracting myself, it just seems to keep coming back up, especially at night. There is no resolution in my control. Probably time to just fist myself.

I just project my pain and suffering onto other people, like my children or coworkers for example.
That helps take some of the stress of myself.

I try to realize that that thought is getting too deep into my mind and is starting to control my body without my will so by realizing that it got into my mind like that it kind of makes me not care about it that much because if i do it will control me without my will. Its like when kids do that thing where they do everything in their power to make you angry but you dont feed them attention because if you do that will grant them power and they will get control of you.
does this make sense ?

You have to think about it long and hard and find what exactly bothers you about it. When you find that you'll notice that you can choose not to be bothered in a way. Getting angry releases all kinds of hormones and it's addictive.

Try to gain perspective. If the situation isn’t really a big deal then take a look at what matters most. Watch a documentary on world issues, or a travel show to a third world country where they don’t need prada to be happy.
When it’s something that does matter (for example my work has a manager that is making decisions that will result in people dying but nobody cares) I don’t know how to turn it off. It eats me up every day and I take it home.

A) what am I willing to do about it?
If the answer is nothing, then move on
If the answer is 'X', then do 'X'
