Teachers complain the most of any profession.

They’re always complaining about how much they get paid, how hard they work, all they have to deal with etc. My county just released their back to school plan that has kids split into A/B teams that will go 2 days per week...so half capacity in classrooms at a time. Face book filled with teachers seriously saying things like how their 3rd graders are going to have to attend their funeral.

since the teachers are only teaching part time (part classroom/part web based), we should have our taxes cut and their salaries reduced. they are basically saying they provide little value other than baby sitting since kids are learning off of apps and videos.

Well public schools are really nothing more than daycares.

A lot of teachers are just babysitters.

The thing with being a teacher.............its probably one of the worst professions where you cannot switch off or stop doing work when you get home after work .............

There is always constant anxiety about preparing materials for a good lessons the next day. Its basically a 24/7 job , seriously....

Teach the exact same chit for 15 years. Reuse the exact same lesson plans from 15 years ago. Yeah I'm sure it's real hard.

Was just talking about this the other day. Even back in high school 10+ years ago they would always complain “we don’t get paid enough for this” blah blah blah then get a different job you cuck.

Teachers : DEFUND POLICE give us the money yall give to police, we need it and deserve it more

Police: working every day during covid, not complaining about getting covid and interacting with 100s of people a day

Teachers : Making us go back to work is cruel and unsafe and you are asking us to risk our LIVES to go back to work

Police : risk their lives everyday by accepting the job of police officer, 24/7 365 their life is more at risk

My kids teacher basically sent out one email a week, monitored their apps for probably an hour a day and did an hour of zoom calls a week.

Problem is that in grade school the amount of actual instruction is about two hours a day. They get four recesses, breaks, "quiet time", etc.

But - when I had to help teach them at home, I understood how hard it was to deal with little kids who don't want to do schoolwork. And I had two well behaved kids and I have time to actually teach/parent them properly. I can't imagine dealing with twenty, especially ones with special needs and behavioural issues. It's no wonder some kids slip through the cracks.

Teachers act like no one is back to work , meanwhile they go out to eat, go on vacations staying in hotels, go to the gas station, go to ULTA for makeup, alcohol stores for booze, get their nails and hair done, go clothes shopping, order things from amazon, go to the gym.

Good thing all those people chose to stay home and stay safe too, right? They didnt have to make the choice between working for their livlihood or safety riight?

Just can't understand how teacher make more money than cops. srs.

They get paid too much to do what they do. Read slides and show videos? ffs...

Not to mention that they are not essencial at all. Its easier to learn from internet than in classes. They literally spend 20mins reading a slide that everybody can read in 5 minutes.
