Do You Think There are Undiscovered Giant Fish/Monsters/Dinosaurs in the Ocean?

Like a plesiosaur still down there? After all, as of 2020, 80%+ of the ocean remains undiscovered/unmapped/unexplored. Maybe Atlantis?

megalodon deniers crack me up. There are 100% still megalodons out there but the government and the scientist cucks say they're extinct so they won't get hunted to extinction

Think there are some monster sharks.

Look for the article about the huge great white that was tagged with a tracking sensor and the sensor was later found on a beach in Australia. The data from the sensor indicated the original tagged shark had been eaten by something and taken to extreme depths.

There is definitely some big chit down there that human eyes have never seen. I dunno about dinosaurs, but the ocean is far too vast and uncharted for us to have discovered anywhere near all of the secrets it contains.

As to OP, undiscovered EXTINCT animals? Of course. Large ones? Of course. Larger than the blue whale? Nah. Large undiscovered ones that still exist today? Nah.

Pretty cool, but they estimate the shark that would have killed it to "only" be 16' long, which is massive, but not anything we haven't seen before.

Its possible, they say we know more about space than our ocean. We keep finding weird things deep in the ocean. Giant squid exist and we know little about them.

The shark lived in warm waters closer to the shore. They couldn't survive in the cool depths. Around the time of their extinction, the oceans cooled significantly and this led to a rapid decline in their population. Additionally, their food sources either declined or migrated into waters they couldn't follow, and for the remaining food sources they were out-competed by Great Whites. Finally, in order to sustain a healthy population, there must be a certain threshold of healthy breeding adults. The deeper you go, the less sunlight that penetrates the water coupled with the extremely high pressures ensures that type of food source doesn't exist down there. Not to mention how sparse of life the oceans are now due to overfishing and pollution. They 100% don't exist anymore. Only the smaller mostly blind sea creatures can survive down there.

Unfortunately no. Virtually no food actually gets down to the depths to support gigantic creatures. The giant beasts that do live at depth have to climb the water column to find food/eat and this is when they are seen (ex: giant squid). If Godzilla was down there, it would have been seen already when it comes up for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

One monster can't exist unless it's somehow immortal. You need a large community of individuals to maintain a population. If a community of this creature lived in the Loch Ness it would be spotted by now, especially since there's millions of people who have looked out for it.

There's people who combed the entire area with sonar and found nothing. Nessie is a super popular myth, clearly there can't just be one monster, it has to be a population. You're telling me that after decades there hasn't been a single piece of evidence or footage of this thing's existence?
