Anyone else here have the dream goal of one day bench pressing 4 plates?

My max ever bench was 297 lbs (135kg), but I was really fat as well that time. I've cut a lot of fat, but my bench is now around 275lbs x 2. It will probably take a long time, possibly even never

I have been doing lots of research on how to increase bench, such as using negatives, pyramid sets, drop sets, targeting incline and decline, switching orders of exercises, training chest twice, creatine loading, mixing up rep ranges etc.

I have also been watching videos of others doing 4 plates (or close to it) such as Simeon Panda, Mike Rashid, Lexx Little, Larry Wheels, Bradley Martyn, David Laid etc. Yes I am aware they are probably all on cell tech.

Does anyone else here have the goal of one day bench pressing 4 plates?

I watch this before every chest session

Maybe in the future, when I bench 4 plates I will bump this thread and post video evidence. It could be 5 years, 10 years, maybe never

More realistically, work on getting 315 for reps.

Not a fan of bb bench, I do have a dream of benching 150lb dumbells tho

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

no, my life wasn't any better when I could do that.

I have a dream not to ever hurt my shoulders again or tear a pec tho.

Fair enough. for me personally, when i break a PR or achieve a small goal i feel good (i think due to dopamine rush I have read about it). But other than that life would not change much

I was 230 when I hit it, mass is a huge help when it comes to bench. I also was benching 2-3 times a week. Unless you are very genetically blessed, you'll probably need some extra help as well if you don't want to baloon up to a 300 lbd bloat lord.
