Just tried Huel (meal replacement shake) for the first time [ITT: honesty]

So I grabbed a bag of chocolate and vanilla-flavored Huel. It's the meal replacement shake that's being advertised everywhere.. I've seen a bunch of ads on ********. Apparently you could theoretically survive for the rest of your life on it like Soylent Green.

Here are my opinions after downing some yesterday:
1.) Tastes like ass. Tastes like oatmeal and grits if it was mixed with celery and bananas.
2.) If not mixed in a blender bottle with a grit, blender ball, etc.. or better yet an actual motor-driven blender.. you'll get chunks and pieces that are gross.

That's the cons, now for the pros:
3.) If mixed properly, it goes down smooth and settles well in stomach.
4.) No digestive discomfort. Seems to be easily digested (comes gluten free if you're sensitive).
5.) I've had nothing but awesome sh!ts today.
6.) Definitely curbs hunger.
7.) A lot of protein for gains.
8.) Cheap compared to normal meals. 2 scoops = 400 calories and 30g protein. My shake was 4 scoops to have a proper 800 calorie "meal" after a workout sesh.

Final rating: 6.5/10

If you can get past how *******y it tastes, it serves well as a meal replacement on-the-go.

Funny enough, I got it for free from a fat milf friend of mine that didn't want it anymore because it contains kelp extract (she's allergic to kelp).

“The key nutritional aspects are earth-grown nutrients. That’s real food. That’s whole food. I like to say no pills, no powders, no potions. We don’t need that garbage. We need real food. Real food has sustained life on this planet since the dawn of time. Wild caught lean meats – nothing preserved, no chemicals, lots of vegetables, I’m a huge produce fan – because that is life. And then complex carbohydrates in the form of quinoa, brown rice, sweet potatoes – things like that. And we eat! I make sure they’re constantly eating a tremendous amount of highly usable foods.” – Mike Dolce

Sounds like something I’d need if I were to go to a forest for 1-2 weeks and have that as a backup option or it’d be useful if I was stranded on a desert island. Oh wait 99% of people on earth don’t do that so... I think I’d rather cook my own food using wholesome ingredients than subsist on Prison food overpriced gruel... lmao
