Best email?

Misc, I need to make a new email as a main. Currently using Hotmail since 1998.

Must be free.

I do have gmail for android reasons but dont want to use it as a main.

Sane responses get reps.

Gmail is definitely better at filtering out spam.

I used to have Yahoo and AOL when I was in high school. I rarely ever check them, but when I do check they're full of hundreds of spam emails.
