Just remember, no money for healthcare, education or retirement

But we can create 11 trillion dollars out of thin air (while devaluing your savings) and give it to billionaires who run big business.

Is there anything more cucked than living in a country with no social support and full corporate welfare (08, 2020)?

Fam you cant even save for retirement?

Even saving $3.5k a year for like 40 years at an 8% interest rate would get you to retirement.

The more you save/invest, the earlier you retire.

But agree on the money printer go brr chit.

Not against social services in theory. I think they would be great. But when you price in the politics/red tape/fraud/overspending of the government and combine that with a “me first” attitude of the average American citizen you get a big problem.

The problem is, we end up spending 1,000x the amount of tax dollars of what a social program should actually cost us, then we get .01% of the results/value of what that social service should provide.

So why TF would ever be in favor of any kind of government spending when the value per dollar is 1/100,000 of what could be produced in the private sector?

Create your own social support. It’s not hard to get anything you listed if you actually have work ethic

Our education system doesn’t need more money, it needs a full reform, from the bottom up. Colleges charge a huge premium and are mostly useless. Education is an indoctrination machine to churn out ideological slaves for the Democrats.

Reminder that the biggest welfare queens in the US are Walmart and Amazon.

That's what happens when there is a crisis. The government needs to spend money. Otherwise we end up like the early 1930's where the stock market drops by 85%. Then you can kiss your 401k goodbye.

They're also in Quebec.

One of the issues with universal healthcare is that the general populace becomes rather stupid, and every little thing warrants a visit to the doctor or ER. It just overburdens the system.

At the end of the day, the mental relief knowing that if something were to happen medically, you and your family aren't going to go bankrupt.

Canada definitely needs to work at preventative health care in general, to ensure a universal healthcare system works. Sadly, some parts of the country are moving in the opposite direction, removing a lot of funding for preventative planning.

Generally, I feel like this guy is an idiot. Things are more expensive in Canada? No shiit. The rest of his arguments seem weak at best.

The crazy thing is how anti-socialism (in any way, big or small) a lot of Americans are, but are completely okay with corporate socialism, or don't say much when it happens.

Most of the money is going to americans....

Most people are making $2400/ month, and many big businesses and small are closing down forever

Not sure what you mean here
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

There is not a "Free market". The government protects insurance companies and free competition is not allowed. Big pharmaceutical companies are also allowed to price gouge and manufacture dirt cheap drugs from china and other countries.

The fed needs to be audited and the debt slavery of global banks needs to be addressed.
