Got stopped by the cops on my scooter

They were stopping people and the cop asked me why I didn't have a license plate or have it registered in my name.

Luckily I got off with a warning and told to get my license and registration at the dmv.

Sucks I'll be without wheels till then.

He cut me a break and I had to call someone to haul it home, I thought about waiting till the officer was gone and just driving it home.

not sure how you dont get it? Do you feel like you were stopped because of the color of your skin.

I hear this happens a lot, never happened to me even though I'm not white. I'm spanish decent btw, so I'm tanned to say the least

I got pulled over for riding an standing electric scooter on the sidewalk without registration/insurance when I was 11.
