2020 pandemic vs. 9/11 poll
which one was a bigger deal, i remember being in high school class and teacher wheels in the tv showing the world trade centers getting hit. then after that we cancelled all our football practices etc because of anthrax bombs or something. Like the little town I grew up in was going to be anthrax bombed. I'd say 2020 is the crazier year, not just the pandemic, but the george floyd thing and repercussions.

Pandemic beats 9/11, the tsunami, and the bailout.

Atleast 9/11 united us unlike this 2020 chit show.

9-11 was a far bigger deal.
I mean, George Floyd took Covid off the news for a month for example. 9-11 also shocked us, while Covid is just annoying now.

2020 and it's not even close, 9/11 only really affected the US, UK and the Middle East.
Covid 19 has pretty much affected the entire world and even though the virus itself isn't that deadly (0.2% death rate for people with no underlying health conditions) it will cripple many economies with the lockdowns put in place. Alot of things we did last year doesn't seem normal anymore due to the huge restrictions etc
George Flloyds death has caused mass protests and rioting across America and Western Europe, and has made political/race issues huge.
Both events this year have changed our mindsets and how we see the world for a very long long time.
There really hasn't been anything like this since WW2.
