When it comes to job interviews does anyone else have
A chitty personality. To where others think you are either mad upset or sad cause you never smile and feel it is a hinderence for you at job interviews cause you feel your personality makes you seem stand offish ot unlikeable?

My past interviews have revolved only around technical proficiency and describing projects I've worked on.

If your personality is garbage, but you can demonstrate the skills to have the job, you are going to lose out to someone with a better personality and equal skills. If you're the only qualified candidate, it doesn't matter much.
Usually if someone seems uptight or nervous, I'll tell them to relax and take a deep breath. It's hard interviewing and most people don't have a lot of experience with it.

[QUOTE=cjr169;1612112381]What you interviewing for a HR or front desk position?

Just a tech support role but sometimes its not what you know. If the person giving the interview doesnt like how you look or just gets a bad vibe they will many times pass you over
Im over qualified for the job just got a bad vibe with the interview guy. Was suppose to last 30 mins and lasted 10 ten. He asked the random normal questions and then was like we will be in touch
In my experince if you dont get the offer on the spot at the second interview. Its game over.

i literally asked for feedback and the reviewer said:
you know, its OK to be excited about the job, its OK to show enthusiasm.
...it was literally for my dream job, i wanted to seem professional and not jump off the walls.....
