Well the USA is officially fawked

Despite getting everyone back to work in over 40 states the courts are seeing possible cases of eviction reaching 12 million according to reports that's how many people have pull or partial federal rental assistance. So far despite not having income most families actually used the relief fund to pay their rent while others felt they weren't obligated to pay (for whatever reason this was mostly black people)

To add to this several banks in the USA have decided to cancel all credit cards that have overdue payments as they have noticed an upward trend in debt.

The odd thing is housing sales have gone through the roof. Turns out people are buying a sh*t load of houses outside the city as more and more people anticipate social unrest apparently the people making these home purchases(the highest in 10 years) are current home owners who make more than 75k a year not only that gun sales are at a record high

Seems like people are preparing and they are right to something is happening and the media is only beginning to notice

Question: do you believe there should be a nationwide debt reset?

The fact this is happening tells me that the whole hiding from the virus thing was complete overkill, and the urgency of the situation is so much less than we're being led to believe.

Brb, people are dying in record numbers
Brb, you're still evicted

Lmao

Good. This is necessary to deflate the housing bubble.

yeah home ownership is reserved for people with responsible finances

you're suppose to get a morgage 1/4 of your take home pay and have 12 month emergency fund

sorry you had too many kids, needed a new car, etc etc and chit hit the fan. You made a deal to pay a bill every month for 30 years or you lose it

it was a pick your poison situation at the start

disease ends up being way deadlier than expected and absolute chit tons of people die which becomes a logistical nightmare in and of itself

lock things down fck the economy economy is fcked for the next 20 years

srs mark my words if schools stay closed this will be the nail in the coffin for increasing wealth divide in the country, keeping schools closed is the most selfish bull chit the well off rich city liberals have come up with yet. Not once have I seen any of the people advocating for keeping stuff closed this year provide a solution for those that don't have the money for a babysitter other than "give them more free money"

I sold my house because of the divorce and I hated the house anyway. Sold the same day it was listed.

There's no reason for the economy to still be on lockdown. You have a 0.0004% chance of dying from the Corona.
