When I was in HS (story time) (inflation)

I wanna say fresh and soph year, open campus lunch.

Pizza place down the street had a lunch special: An 8" Italian beef sandwich with cheese, peppers and marinara, fries (about 1.5 cups) and a can of pop

Grand total: $4
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

I think a Whopper with cheese was 99 cents and the Little Ceasers personal pizza was under $5 when I was in high school 93-97.

LOL I was but they eventually stopped it, too many kids ditching.

I tried ditching and got caught, was stupid and I got in-school suspension for five days (which was worse than out of school).

Little caesars does the $5 thing still. A large 1 topping hot n ready. I get one every now and then. It’s actually not bad as long as it’s fresh. It’s the worst pizza ever as a left over the next day.

Nah man.

Little Caesars, still til this day, has $5 "hot-and-ready" pizzas.

They generally only have cheese, sausage and pepperoni pizza ready to go though.

They also try and up-sell you with dipping sauces for your crust.

It was pretty fun. I also had a release hour when I'd leave campus and also used to walk out in English class with my buddy and go to circle K for sodas then come back to class with the sodas before it was over lol.

Arby’s 5 for $5 when the sandwiches were good size and more meat

I’m pretty sure regular McDonalds hamburgers we’re about 40 cents in 2001.
