ANother few Good puppers licks girl so hard it puts her on Ventilator

Teen girl, 15, is put on ventilator after her neighbor's two pit bulls ripped off her scalp and left ear and damaged her throat in vicious attack while she was walking near her home

-Joslyn Stinchcomb, 15, is in critical condition in an Atlanta, Georgia, hospital
-On Friday, she was nearly mauled to death by two pit bulls near home in Winder
-Joslyn suffered damage to her trachea and had her scalp and left ear ripped off
-Deputy found her face down with one dog biting neck and other biting her head
-One of the dogs ran toward deputy, who took out his gun and shot the animal
-The other dog released its grip from Joslyn and ran away. Both dogs survived
-The two canines were euthanized by Barrow County Animal Control
-Dogs' owner, Alexandria Torregrossa, 29, was charged with reckless conduct
-Joslyn also sustained nerve damage that will impact ability to blink and smile
-She may also never be able to have natural grown hair after scalp was ripped off [/b]

Tragic story. I'm a proud owner of a gorgeous blue nose pit bull. Absolute love my foreveralone life.

That being said, I'm a proponent of breed based legislation. It breaks my heart knowing the ****ty people that get pit bulls. Not to mention the thousands that have to be put down in shelters. There are just too many ****ty breeders and ****ty people that think it would be neat to have a pit bull.

For their own sake, I am for measures that would lead to a reduction in the number of pit bulls.

It sucks but has to and should be done. They are such wonderful dogs. Truly the height of human ingenuity when it comes to creating the perfect animal companion.

It's unfair that they euthanize the dogs but not the owner. And of course the owner looks like she does.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
