Spraying to kill mosquitos **rentcells stay out** [SRS thread]
So, I'm sick and tired of getting attacked by these damn mosquitos. I want to treat my front and back yard with some type of chemical or all-natural spray to kill and repel mosquitos away from my house. I already have a 4-gallon backpack sprayer to use specifically for this. Do any of you miscers have experience with this and what advise do you have. Thanks bros.

I built a misting system that runs along my fence that ended up working pretty well.
Basically followed this (https://www.mosquitomax.com/the-ulti...osquito-system) and improvised where needed to suit application.

"Mosquitoes hunt me down for miles" crew. Still not sure why they are so attracted to me - when my wife are sleeping side by side, only I will get bitten at night, not her.
Really intrigued by that misting system and the idea behind it. I have screens installed on all my windows (that I open) and maybe there's a tiny gap here and there and STILL some mosquitoes get inside....

Might be worth a shot to try adding plants to your yard that naturally repel mosquitoes. If you google it, there are a bunch that pop up.

Careful of using insecticides - you’ll kill birds and toads and lizards that actually eat mosquitoes and keep the numbers down. Next year rolls around and you have twice as many skeeters and no ones eating them. I stopped spraying and use candles and my numbers are down.

I have a professional come and spray for mosquitoes and tics 4 times per year. Never have a problem with either, but the spray doesn't take care of biting flies or gnats, so I still get some annoyance from them. Generally if I'm going to be outdoors for a while I light up a cigar and the smoke keeps all the other bugs away.
