Do i need a chain if i hang up my heavy bag?

Or can i use a set up similar like this? And what would the difference be with and without a chain?
One person said he used bungee cords only to reduce the noise.
Others use a spring, then some others use a chain only.

Will rep advice for installation. I bought one of those Aquabag buoy.

Also this one seems to heave a safety chord in case it falls down. Is that bungee rope? And would 1 rope be stong enough for 190 lbs? Or should i attach several?

the chains the more longer they are, provide greater mobility of the bag, i would greatly advise chains in this case because you are light weight and that bag is not going to move, so longer chains would be better to let it absorb better power or else you will feel like punching in wall

That makes sense. But i bought a 190 lbs aquabag that will barely move, so i don't know whether i need the chain or not.
They're supposed to be easier on the joints.
The problem for the chain is the extra cost since i'll have to buy the 6x6 wooden beams 3ft longer each and the chain itself. It will cost around an extra $80 which i rather not spend unless i have to.

But once i install the wooden beams, there's no way of raising it. So i definitely need to know whether or not to get chains, because i can't try it first and adjust.

Thanks for replying!

Ps: I'm trying to go for this kind of set up in my backyard
