what's your excuse for not learning to code?

brb making apps and getting 500k downloads on Play Store, 4.8 ratings, and generating $ thousands / mo passive income
brb making web scraping bots to email myself time-critical information in real-time
brb writing script to buy limited-edition items / book time-critical concerts just as bookings open up
brb making my own websites / helping people with their e-commerce websites for $$$
brb automating all my file works, be it excel, docs, storing passwords to an encrypted db so I don't have to remember a single password
brb tweaking open-source to suit my personal demands


programming is GOAT. what's your excuse for not learning to code?

Where do i start/ how did you learn efficiently?

Ive done a bunch of free and paid online courses in html/java/python/etc.

learning to code and then publishing a full functional non-basic app requires many years and a solid team around you as well as a steady stream of money. before you publish an app, you have to spend countless hours doing so without being paid anything unless you work for a firm.

what do you define as full-functional non-basic app? Google was started by just two graduate students building a web scraper in Python. FB was just a simple website at a college dorm built in PHP. My point is, getting started is usually half the battle.

Ofc if you compare yourself to tech giants / unicorns, you can't compete. But building a simple prototype, implementing it, and pushing out an app should not take you years and years. There are countless apps on play store that are simple, yet have a heavy user-base and bring in respectable cashflow.

Nothing wrong with coding but its a field that you have to like. I don't code but im pretty sure its like learning an actual language, and then writing an entire book(software).

I got back into it, having a lot of fun.

Even if you quite literally wont ever use it, why the hell now learn a little about how all of this chit you chitpost on all day works?

IDEs and tutorials are free, just your time you don't use productively.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

Once you get to the point where you are comfortable enough to effectively use google, start coding stuff on your own.

Pick a project that feels just outside of what you understand and code it.

Tic-Tac-Toe and hangman are great projects to get your feet wet with. Don't cheat, code them from scratch and only research how to use the syntax needed for the logic.

Not sure whymany are not coding either, its really easy and requires just your dedication.

I ceo10k a day now after taking a udemy course on how to program in 10 days.

Now I'm teaching people how to program in 9 days. Once all the truck drivers lose their jobs to automation, they can easily take my course and become senior level programmers, LC for a week, chitpost blind and get into a FANG company and make 10kceo a day as well.
