I've never tried it. I haven't drank whisky for 15 years so I would never buy it for myself. For your time...

You tell me, brah. Your opinion's the only one that really matters.

I tried some Bushmills the other day, tasted like a bland, hot whiskey at first but I put a few drops of water in and it just morphed into deliciousness.

Will report back. Also, Kentucky bourbon > Tennessee > Irish whisky...

If you’re a whiskey snob you won’t like it, it’s not all that bad but it’s not all that good. Then again I can assure you it’ll get you plenty drunk.

It's solid especially considering it's mass produced. But they have quite a few very pricey lines and they also produce Pappy.

They make some damn good brown sauce

It's supposedly one of the best bourbons for the money. It is smooth enough to drink straight and also something good to mix. I have a bottle, but I'm not a big hard alcohol guy so all I can say is that I enjoy it and you don't get chemical tastes from it like cheap chit.

Honestly man, your pic is an oxymoron. You shouldn't be making mint julips with a good high end bourbon. You also haven't had bourbon in 15 years, so you have no base to compare. Drink it straight and see if you like it.

Also, there are 2 guys on Youtube who have a channel called "Bourbon Junkies" it is entertaining and they get good stock. Check it out.

How does bourbon taste that much different from like Jack Daniels? Pardon me for lameness but I don't drink. I know people go crazy for bourbon though. To me a nondrinker...all liquor tastes the same.

Jack Daniels is legally bourbon but they choose to call themselves a Tennessee Whiskey meaning before it goes in the barrel it is charcoal filtered. Jack Daniels legally is considered to be bourbon based on federal laws. They choose to call themselves Tennessee Whiskey (marketing / product differentiation). It just goes through another step.

Oh ok cool. I drink vodka too prefer Titos. I rarely drink beer unless I'm watching futbol or hockey at a bar. That's all I drank throughout college going to live hockey games etc that I got tired of it, and it was giving me a beer belly lol. No bueno.

I thought Jack Daniels wasn't technically bourbon?

Jack Daniels is bourbon, they created the name Tennessee Whiskey no different than oil companies creating the "top tier gas" moniker, when it is gas and literally the same thing with the exception of detergents.
