Leaked bodycam footage of George Floyd arrest

Sorry if repost, haven't seen it posted.

Make from it what you will, misc.. but at the very least it shatters the left's narrative.

He seems a bit nervous/paranoid, was he on drugs? This is what caused riots? Itโ€™s unfortunate this good, didnโ€™t do nuffin, young man died but This video clearly shows him not being able to follow simple instructions and his erratic behavior. I bet There are some people are there that are feeling really dumb right no after this was posted.

Having just reviewed all the footage, it's strange and i'm not sure what to make of it.

At the very least, i think the footage highlights it wasn't racially motivated... he was screaming, acting very erratic and constantly resisted arrest while shouting 'i'm not resisting', then claims to be claustrophobic after being sat in his own car... he was clearly under the influence of something. Certainly not the narrative that's been painted by the media and the left.

Not justifying what happened to him or saying it's right, at all, but i don't know how people can watch this and conclude it's racially motivated. Perhaps if this was released earlier it would've saved lives and destruction of peoples property by preventing masses of braindead individuals jumping to conclusions. The cop who's footage it is actually seemed nice and was trying to accommodating him telling him he'd roll the windows down when he claimed claustrophobia, even though it was clearly chit because he was just sat in his own vehicle voluntarily.

I'm not really an expert on this kind of stuff, it's clear he's drugged up though - would you say it gives any validity to the claim that the drugs in his system were a huge contributing factor to his death? Whilst i never bought the racism idea because i saw no evidence of racism, i dismissed the 'drugs killed him bro' opinion, but after watching this i'm thinking that perhaps it's plausible, or at the very least chauvins knee on his neck may not have had enough pressure to kill a healthy individual not loaded with drugs. Also, throughout the arrest he claims hes hurting, he cant breathe, hes gonna die, so whilst it's wreckless and i don't agree with what chauvin did... i can see why his 'i cant breathe' claims were ignored, as the video states below it's kind of like the boy who cried wolf. Still the technique is barbaric and i don't condone it, at all

At worst it's manslaughter for the one cop, and the rest are innocent, IMO... but maybe i'm wrong.

the cop should have gotten a promotion and George Floyd should have been working in a sweatshop in prison for the rest of his life the first time he decided to put a gun to a pregnant womans belly.

Died needlessly at the hand of the cop. Really don't need or care to see anything else. No justification for kneeling on his neck for 5+ min until he went unconscious and died and anyone else who thinks otherwise is a POS

You should care. The justification of the riots begins with the racial narrative behind this event, and this false narrative has led to multiple loss of lives and livelyhoods.

Not arguing Chauvin wasn't wrong... but watching this video it's clearly not racially driven, and it's not a stretch to argue that its possible the drugs could have also played a part in his death upon review of this video (still not justifying chauvins actions before you true to 'guilt' me into your agenda)... and it completely changes the context of everything...i'd argue anyone who 'doesn't care' about the false narrative pushed by the media and authority that led to innocent lives and livelyhoods lost is the real POS. This was just an excuse to push an agenda on a mass scale. If the media were pushing a different agenda that you don't identify with, i'm sure you'd care.

Sadly, no. The people that screamed about this, the people that created the cult of St. George, the middle class leftists and the street trash, all will perform their mental gymnastics and come out of this unscathed in their own minds. Below is an example...

You heard what you wanted to hear. MPD has had issues within that community for years and that's a big reason for the riots. He killed him. There is no false narrative, a cop killed an unarmed man. That's the narrative and that's what happened

Nope, the narrative is that he was killed because of the color of his skin, this narrative was extremely powerful for the left to hijack. The entire focus has been on race, if you can't see that you're willfully ignorant and blinded by your agenda.

Wrong. You heard what you wanted to hear. Have friends and family who live there, I lived 5min from where he was killed. My FB was filled with this discussion for months. Original riots in Minneapolis was for the MPD and it's chitty officers

You're too hard headed to even have a discussion with, so i won't waste my time further.

You're welcome to your opinion, but i guess mine makes me a 'POS' because it doesn't align with your narrative. JFL

If you think this new video somehow takes away from the protest and what they stand for you're a POS. It obviously sounds like you have a narrative you wanna spin and are incapable of admitting you don't know wtf you're talking about. I've discussed this ad nauseum with people who actually lived and went to the protests from the start

Have you actually read my posts?

As i've said multiple times, i don't agree with the police brutality, i simply disagree theres any evidence of racial motivation. I don't speak for others, whether they agree with him or not is up to them.

The protests are literally about race...their slogan is black lives matter ffs...if it's not about race as you claim then they need to figure out how to be clearer in their message to achieve anything cos when all you talk about is race, and you name your organization after a race, people are going to assume it's about race - crazy right! Whether it's a valid thing to protest and if racial inequality exists or not is a different point (it may well be, i'm not American so i am ignorant to whether racial inequality exists in America or not), protesting police brutality would be understandable in george floyds name, but protesting racial inequalityin George Floyd's namedoesn't make sense, because again there's no evidence of racism in this particular case.

Yeah that's exactly what i've said....

Not once have i stated Chauvins behavior was justified, i've actually stated the opposite.

When you throw around the term racist so liberally, it loses all effect and people stop being scared of being called racist. Try having a discussion once in a while, instead of acting on emotion.

He died from a drug overdose. A very bad man dying from a drug overdose isn't something to burn society down over unless you are a savage.

BLM started in 2013-14.. been around for years and didn't start cause George Floyd.

Also get around on this site more often, every black miscer on this forum has been called a racist either in their CP or just having a discussion.. the alt right lite are the crybabies who continue to shout that all over this forum

Not a supporter of BLM, but realistically speaking, once they got the cuffs on him, they could have just sat him on the curb until he calmed down. He obviously has some mental trauma from being shot previously.

All that was needed was a little time to get him to calm down before they put him in the car. His behaviour didn't justify leaning on his neck to subdue him.

In fact, cops shouldn't do that to anyone. Why? Because they don't know what preexisting conditions they have and could likely kill them. As it happened in this scenario.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

Yes, BLM has been around for a while but this gave it a 'spark' and triggered more riots. They have literally been holding George Floyd banners while screaming about racial inequality.

Again, not justifying the actions or even saying racial inequality doesn't exist in America, or it's not a valid thing to protest (i don't know as i'm not American, and spend no time in USA, i fully aware of my own ignorance on this side of things which is why i have purposefully not commented on it)... simply that protesting racial inequality in George floyds name doesn't make sense, because there's no evidence of racism here in this scenario.

I don't care what everyone else on the misc says, I only speak for myself. At no point have i said Chauvin's actions are justified, i've simply claimed in this case there is no evidence of racism, and this video shows that it's clearly not about race nor a 'hate crime'. That's all. I'm not claiming he deserved to die just because he was on drugs, obviously when someone is face down on the floor, in handcuffs, it's pretty chitty to put your knee on their neck, especially when they might be vulnerable.

I've remained unemotional and tried to show some level of respect by not insulting you despite you labeling me a POS as well as a variety of other insults, but i'm done here as it's clear it's too much of an emotional topic for people to debate coherently. I feel like your experience on the misc has caused you to react a certain away.

BLM has been doing this for years now, couple weeks before Floyd they had protests for the Ahmad Arbery killing as well. Even in Minneapolis they protested for Philando Castille who was killed just outside of Minneapolis couple years ago, shut down some highways. The riots for cities changed as well depending on what happened in that city. BLM has been around for a long ass time.

Obviously there's a lot you can't know because you don't actually live in the US let alone the cities where these events took place.. just trying to educate you boyo
