Up until maybe a month ago, I figured "win or lose, the left will drop this after November".

Don't think so anymore brahs.

This covid thing is the perfect excuse for nearly any power grab. Can basically implement universal basic income, shut down religious gatherings, forcefully regulate business and education, etc. Without even passing laws, since they are all emergency orders.

Not only that, we've now had six months of everyone HARD selling the danger of normal life. I don't see how you get most people to agree to meet in huge crowds after this, even if you backtrack.

Sad how much stuff will probably never exist again.

Some bands are doing drive in type concerts. Better than nothing. Although if we never go back to real concerts I'll be so sad.
