Lifting again after seven months - What to expect? tips? precuations?

Just started lifting again because gyms are open and I'm tired of looking at my lockdown peak rotting performance body fueled by beer and a lot of food.

Just came back from the gym and did a bro/split circuit on the fly program just getting used to all the movements so I'm expecting a ton of doms. Should I still be lifting with severe doms or should I rest instead or should I just go to gym and do some super light exercises just to get the blood flowing because I feel like I'm gonna be bed-ridden for the next week lol.

back, knee, and tendon issues should be the #1 concern. several people on the misc have already blown out their backs on the return to the gym

Oh crap, yeah I felt my elbow tendon tingling a bit when I was doing OHP, immediately stopped and moved on.
