regardless of what you want to look like, there are some looks that just suit you physically no matter what. kid had that at first. he's like the opposite of all the weebos that let their hair grow out into a nasty mop thinking they're inuyasha

If you've a stronger facial structure short hair will suit you better, in this case the long hair gave his face a fuller look.
