Today is my wedding anniversary

I got married exactly 5 years ago aged 35

It has not been easy but I would say to you young brahs that marriage is mostly positive

Set boundaries, put your foot down, pick your battles

Over time you may find, like me, that your wife becomes your best friend

I have a little regret . Daughter was born 2 years ago, wish we had her when I was younger. Thankfully I'm still fit and healthy to enjoy her younger energetic years.

Wife and I traveled a lot and enjoyed life before marriage so no regrets on that front . We had a fun 5 years together before marrying.

Yeah I hope you don't get pissed off or feel resentment towards your wife. She has definitely cheated on you by now (one fight where you went out and she texts an old friend etc.), but that's true of virtually every marriage, nothing to be ashamed of.
