BRB decide a company is either poorly run, undervalued, has a bad ceo, or is completely structured wrong.
Buy up over 5% of the company shares on the open market (since you are a billionaire with a lot of capital).
Send a threatening letter to the company telling them that you will do take the following steps to fix their company, otherwise you will run a public campaign to turn shareholders against the company managment.
Company tells you to f off.
You buy another 10% of shares and reiterate to the company they now must fire the CEO and install you and your three selected friends to the board.
Then you hop on CNBC, Bloomberg, and write an OP Ed in the WSJ how the CEO is a complete loser, the company sucks, and here's the reasons why.
Company leadership now starts to chit itself.
Start contacting directly all the shareholders and tell them you will fix this company if you vote for my proposals and nominate me to the board.
Shareholders side with you and you now join the board of directors with three of your friends.
Fire the CEO the next day and start cleaning house.
Stock price goes up - you sell your 20% of company shares for a huge gain. Rinse and repeat.
No other job is more alpha.
