I'm sure that's some of it, but most people I know don't go to the mall because of the absolute filth and degeneracy that hangs out there and never buys chit.

Yup the mall by me I used to go to when I was a kid all the time, is not a hot spot for shootings, robbery/theft, and violence. They just built a huge extension and a movie theater on it last year too lmao.
